WPL 2026 Prize Money: Awards and Overall Team Prizes

The Women's Premier League 2026 was not only a celebration of cricket but also a celebration of money and awards. Smriti Mandhana's Royal Challengers Bangalore delivered a spectacular performance, defeating Jemimah Rodrigues' Delhi Capitals to clinch the title. Following this victory, the RCB players and team staff were showered with awards. The runners-up, Delhi Capitals, also received a substantial prize of three crore rupees.

Batting first, Delhi's Lizelle Lee scored 37 runs off 30 balls, and Shafali Verma contributed 20 runs off 13 balls. Wolvaardt made 44 runs off 25 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Captain Jemimah Rodrigues played a crucial innings of 57 runs off 37 balls, hitting eight fours. Chinelle Henry played a blistering unbeaten innings of 35 runs off 15 balls, including four fours and two sixes. Delhi posted a total of 203 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. For RCB, Lauren Bell conceded only 19 runs in her four overs but failed to take any wickets. Sayali Satghare, Arundhati Reddy, and Nadine de Klerk each took one wicket.

In reply, RCB suffered their first setback at 9 runs. The in-form Grace Harris was dismissed after scoring 9 runs. Following this, captain Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Wareham forged a match-winning partnership of 165 runs off 92 balls. Wareham played a brilliant innings of 79 runs off 54 balls, including 14 boundaries. Richa Ghosh was dismissed for 6 runs. Nadine de Klerk remained unbeaten on 7 runs and Radha Yadav on 12 runs. RCB chased down the target in 19.4 overs. For Delhi, Chinelle Henry took two wickets, while Nandini and Minnu Mani claimed one wicket each.
