The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 Mega Auction is scheduled to take place in Delhi on November 27, 2025. This will be the second mega auction in the tournament's history, the first edition of which took place in 2023. A total of 227 players will participate in the WPL 2026 Mega Auction, competing for 73 vacant spots. Of these, 23 slots are reserved for foreign players.
194 Indian players have been shortlisted, including 52 capped and 142 uncapped players, and 83 foreign players have been shortlisted, including 66 capped and 17 uncapped players. Nineteen players have placed themselves in the highest base-price bracket of ₹50 lakh. Eleven players are in the ₹40 lakh bracket, while 88 players are in the ₹30 lakh bracket.

Big players in the IPL 2026 mega auction
Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh, Sophie Devine, Sophie Ecclestone, Alyssa Healy, Amelia Kerr, Meg Lanning, and Laura Wolvaardt are some of the key names expected to attract significant bids from franchises following their impressive performances in the recently concluded ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.
Before the auction, each team was allowed to retain a maximum of five players. DC and MI were the two teams that retained five players, while UP Warriors retained just one.

UP Warriors have the highest salary cap at ₹14.50 crore, followed by Gujarat Giants at ₹9 crore. DC Women have the lowest salary cap at ₹5.70 crore.
