  • Ryan ten Doeschate stressed that the last hurdle in Pant's recovery is wicketkeeping. The Indian team does not want to adopt a situation like the Lord's Test, where the wicketkeeper has to be changed in the middle of the innings.
  • Wicketkeeping is the last part of the recovery process. We have to ensure that Pant keeps. We do not want to replace the wicketkeeper in the middle of the innings again. Pant rested today. He is trying his best to recover. Hopefully he will be fit by the Manchester Test. If he is fit, he will definitely play the next Test.
