Why Virat Kohli did not post anything on social media after winning the Champions Trophy: Virat Kohli's recent Champions Trophy win was his second as a player. He had earlier won the title in 2013. In this edition, the Indian batsman scored 218 runs in five innings. His brilliant performances included an unbeaten century against Pakistan in the group-stage and a brilliant 84-run knock against Australia in the semi-finals.
Social media and especially Instagram were flooded with posts from the Indian team players. Everyone shared their emotions with the trophy and the post-match celebrations in the dressing room. However, Kohli's feed seemed completely different from the others. It has been two days since the historic Champions Trophy 2025 win, and there has been no post related to the tournament or India's win yet.
This has left the cricket world quite surprised, and speculations are being made about what could be the reason behind it. All the recent posts and other content of Virat Kohli are basically promotional advertisements and endorsements for the many brands he is associated with.

Virat Kohli rarely posts on Instagram about his achievements on the field. In fact, the last post Kohli made on this widely used social media platform was a picture of the team with last year's T20 World Cup trophy and a photo of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Another possible reason could be Kohli's poor performance with the bat in the final of the recently concluded tournament. He got out for just one run, while much more was expected from him. Kohli is someone who has always thought about the team's victory in any situation. His performance in the final not meeting his expectations could be another reason for not posting on Instagram.
