Ashok Sharma is a 23-year-old fast bowler, born on June 17, 2002. Hailing from a small village in Rajasthan, he has successfully made the journey to a grand stage like the IPL. He is also known by the nickname 'Raftaar Singh'. While Ashok is primarily renowned for his swing bowling, his sheer pace has also left everyone astonished. Prior to this, he served as a net bowler for the Rajasthan Royals. In the 2022 IPL, the Kolkata Knight Riders acquired him for ₹55 lakhs, although he did not receive many opportunities to play. He joined RR in 2025, and subsequently, during the 2026 auction, the Gujarat Titans added him to their squad for ₹90 lakhs. He now shares the dressing room with seasoned bowlers such as Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Kagiso Rabada—an excellent opportunity for him to learn and grow.
