According to the report of Indian Express, Bengal's head coach Lakshmiratan Shukla has confirmed Shami's participation in the Ranji Trophy. Shami will be seen playing two away matches for Bengal next month.

First he will play the Ranji match against Karnataka in Bengaluru and after that he will also play a match against Madhya Pradesh in Indore. Bengal's next match is against Kerala, but Shami was not available for it.
