Many fans were surprised that Kohli didn't play in the last few matches (against Saurashtra and Services). The reason is quite simple:
- Availability: Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) president Rohan Jaitley had clarified that Virat had initially made himself available for only three matches.
- Workload Management: Kohli played the first two matches of the tournament and then took a short break. He will rejoin the team to play his third and final group match on January 6.
