The eighth season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), a leading domestic T20 tournament in India, kicks off on July 5th, 2024. Established in 2016, the league features eight teams battling it out in a round-robin format.
The 32-match tournament culminates with a final preceded by three playoff matches. The defending champions, Lyca Kovai Kings, will commence their title defense against the Chepauk Super Gillies in Salem to open the season.
Eight teams will be vying for glory in a round-robin format, playing a total of 28 thrilling league matches. The top contenders will then battle it out in a series of playoff matches, culminating in the grand finale.
