Ruturaj Gaikwad scores his first ODI century: The second match of the ODI series between India and South Africa is being played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Ruturaj Gaikwad, batting at number 4 for Team India, batted brilliantly and scored a century. This is Ruturaj's first century of his ODI career. He scored his first century in his eighth ODI match.

In this match, when Ruturaj Gaikwad came out to bat, Team India's score was 62 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. He batted cautiously initially. He reached his half-century in 52 balls. After reaching his half-century, he started scoring runs at a faster pace. He then hit shots all around the field and reached his century in 77 balls. During his century, he hit 12 fours and two sixes.
