Romario Shepherd created history by taking a hat-trick: The three-match T20 International series between Bangladesh and the West Indies has concluded successfully. The Caribbean team managed to win the prestigious series 3-0. The final match of the series was played in Chittagong on October 31st, where the West Indies team managed to win by a huge margin of 5 wickets with 19 balls remaining.

During the match, Caribbean all-rounder Romario Shepherd also achieved a significant achievement. He became the second bowler from the West Indies cricket team to take a hat-trick in T20 International cricket. Previously, this distinction was held by only Jason Holder, who took a hat-trick in T20 International cricket against England in 2022. But now he has also been added to this list.

Romario Shepherd, who came to bowl the 17th over of the innings for the West Indies, dismissed Nurul Hasan off the last ball of the over, caught by Rovman Powell. Then, in the 20th over of the innings, he trapped Tanzid Hasan and Shariful Islam in the first two balls. Shepherd dismissed Tanzid off Jason Holder, while Shariful Islam was bowled.
