All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy did not get a chance to bat in the Indian team's first innings, but he impressed everyone with his fielding. In the West Indies' second innings, he caught everyone's attention by taking a brilliant catch of opener Tejnarayan Chanderpaul off the bowling of fast bowler Mohammed Siraj.

This incident occurred in the eighth over of the West Indies' second innings. Mohammed Siraj bowled a short ball, which Chanderpaul attempted to pull. However, the timing of the shot was poor, and the ball hit the bat and bounced in the air to the left of square leg.
Fielding there, Nitish Kumar Reddy wasted no time in taking a deep dive and safely grabbed the ball with both hands. It was a brilliant blinder catch, ending Chanderpaul's innings for just 8 runs. Reddy's diving catch is being compared to a 'Superman' performance on social media.
