Following this sensational incident, police immediately swung into action. Five youths have been arrested for firing at Naseem Shah's house.
Following the incident, Naseem's father met with police officials and discussed the matter. According to ESPNcricinfo, the incident has not affected Naseem Shah's plans for the ODI series. He will be fully available to play for Pakistan in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, as well as the T20 tri-series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
