After India’s close two-wicket defeat against Australia in the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval on October 23, a funny video of head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Rohit Sharma went viral.
India couldn’t stop Australia from winning the ODI series, but fans were happy to see Rohit Sharma back in form. He scored a solid 73 runs from 97 balls and helped India reach a total of 264/9 in 50 overs.
Gautam Gambhir’s Joke With Rohit Sharma
Once the match ended, cameras captured a light moment between Rohit and Gambhir. While walking towards the team hotel, Gambhir joked with Rohit saying, “Rohit, sabko lag raha tha ki aaj farewell match tha, ek photo to lagaa do”.
This made Rohit and other players laugh, and the short video quickly spread on social media. Fans enjoyed seeing Gambhir’s fun side as India’s coach.

India has already lost the ODI series after defeats in Perth and Adelaide. Now, the Men in Blue will look to avoid a 3–0 sweep by winning the final match at the Sydney Cricket Ground on October 25.
The upcoming match will be important for big names like Virat Kohli, who is yet to score in the series, and young captain Shubman Gill, who will aim to lead India to victory with both bat and strategy.
