The incident occurred during the West Indies' second innings (follow-on), when the visiting team had scored 293 runs and lost four wickets. At this point, the team had a lead of 23 runs.
The camera panned towards the audience, revealing a woman slapping her friend or partner in a playful manner. The woman did this not once or twice, but several times, while the man held his hand to his cheek and wore a slight smile.
It became clear that this wasn't a serious fight, but rather a playful banter.
