Afghanistan's star batsman Mohammad Nabi hit 5 sixes in an over in the league stage match against Sri Lanka on Thursday. Nabi hit five sixes in the first five balls of the over against Sri Lankan spinner Dunith Wellalage in the last over of Afghanistan's innings. However, he missed sending the last ball out of the boundary. A total of 32 runs were scored in this over. Batting first, Afghanistan scored 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Mohammad Nabi top-scored for Afghanistan with an unbeaten 60, while captain Rashid Khan and Ibrahim Zadran made 24 each. Nuwan Thushara took four wickets for Sri Lanka.
