IND vs SL Super Over highlights: The final Super Four match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 was played between India and Sri Lanka today, September 26th. India won the thrilling Super Over at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Chasing India's target of 203 runs, Sri Lanka could only manage 202 runs, ending the match in a draw. However, in the subsequent Super Over, Arshdeep Singh bowled brilliantly, dismissing two Sri Lankan players for just two runs. Suryakumar Yadav then played Hasaranga's first ball into the gap, running for three runs, and won the match.
Sri Lanka sent Kusal Perera and Dasun Shanaka to bat for the Super Over. India handed the bowling responsibility to Arshdeep Singh.

First ball: Arshdeep dismissed Kusal Perera. Perera played a shot, but the ball went in the air, and Rinku Singh took a brilliant catch. Kamindu Mendis came in to bat. Score 0/1
Second ball: New batsman Kamindu Mendis took a single. Score 1/1
Third ball: Arshdeep bowled a yorker, but Shanaka failed to hit it. Score 1/1
Wide ball: Arshdeep bowled another wide. Score 2/1
Fourth ball: Arshdeep bowled a legal ball. Shanaka was at the crease. The incoming ball missed his bat and went into the hands of Sanju Samson standing behind the wicket. Arshdeep appealed for a catch, and the umpire declared Shanaka out. However, the review found no contact with the bat. Interestingly, Shanaka was running for a run, and Sanju Samson's throw knocked him off the stumps. However, the umpire refused to rule him out. The on-field umpire ruled the ball dead after the bowler appealed and the out decision was given. The review found no contact with the bat, giving Shanaka a reprieve. Score 2/1
Fifth ball: Arshdeep continued his brilliant bowling, and Shanaka was caught by Jitesh Sharma. Score 2/2
In this way, Sri Lanka scored only two runs in the super over and gave an easy target to India.
