Kohli and Gaikwad shared a 195-run partnership for the fourth wicket. This is the highest partnership for any wicket between India and South Africa in ODIs. The pair of Kohli and Gaikwad surpassed Sachin and Dinesh Karthik, who had shared a 194-run partnership against this team in Gwalior in 2010.
