Ayush Badoni scored a double century in the Duleep Trophy match: In the quarter-final of Duleep Trophy played in Bengaluru, Ayush Badoni scored a brilliant unbeaten double century and due to this North Zone gained a lead of 833 runs in the first innings over East Zone. - In fact, North Zone (North Zone Duleep Trophy 2025 Semi Final) extended the third day's play from 388/2 and declared their innings at 658/4. They had got a lead of 833 runs over East, after which both the teams decided to end the match by shaking hands.
- In the match, Ayush Badoni scored an unbeaten 204 off 223 balls. Badoni, who remained at 56 overnight, completed his century in 123 balls and after that batted more aggressively. He completed his second first-class double century with a four on the 222nd ball. In the last hour, he scored 54 runs off 55 balls. Kanhaiya Wadhawan (23*) also returned unbeaten with him.
- Captain Ankit Kumar, who had extended his innings from 168 runs, missed the double century and was caught by Suraj Jaiswal off Mukhtar Hussain's ball at 198 runs. There was a partnership of 150 runs between him and Badoni for the third wicket.
- After this, Badoni added 157 runs with Nishant Sindhu (68 runs) and gave the team a lead of more than 600 runs and more than 700 runs. Badoni completed his second first class double century by hitting a four on the 222nd ball. In the last hour, he scored 54 runs in 55 balls. At the same time, Kanhaiya Wadhawan remained unbeaten on 23 runs.
