Watch Abhishek Sharma 75-run innings against Bangladesh: India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in the Super Fours of the Asia Cup. Abhishek Sharma once again created history in India's victory, scoring a blistering 75 runs off 37 balls. During his fiery innings, Abhishek created a major record in the history of the Asia Cup T20.

Abhishek has become the batsman with the most sixes in the history of the Asia Cup T20. By doing so, he broke the world record held by Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz (AFG). Rahmanullah Gurbaz had hit a total of 15 sixes in the Asia Cup T20. Now, Abhishek Sharma has achieved the feat of hitting a total of 17 sixes in the Asia Cup T20.

Abhishek Sharma run out

The incident occurred on the first ball of the 12th over bowled by Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman. Suryakumar Yadav cut a short and wide delivery towards backward point. Abhishek, the non-striker, attempted a single and ran. But Rishabh Hussain performed a brilliant piece of fielding. The Bangladesh fielder dived to his left and immediately stopped the ball. He then quickly threw the ball back to the bowler, who was standing near the non-striker's end.

Surya had made the call for that single. But Suryakumar later sent Abhishek back quickly. However, by then he had already crossed halfway down the pitch. Mustafizur calmly caught the ball and dislodged the bails. Abhishek tried to dive, but couldn't get back up in time. He lay on the ground for a while, head bowed in despair.
