Vaibhav Suryavanshi Hits Blistering Century in U19 Asia Cup Opener: Wherever he goes, Vaibhav Suryavanshi becomes a terror for bowlers with his explosive batting. Once again, he wreaked havoc with his bat, and the UAE team became the victim. India faced the UAE in the first match of the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025, and Team India came out to bat first. Suryavanshi displayed his familiar style, in which he speaks only in fours and sixes.

The Indian team did not have a good start. Captain Ayush Mahatre was dismissed on the fifth ball of the third over, scoring just four runs (11 balls). After this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi took charge and batted brilliantly. Vaibhav took some time initially, but once he got the team back on track, he wreaked havoc on the bowlers.

Vaibhav reached his half-century in just 29 balls. He reached his fifty with a six. He didn't stop thereafter, hitting three consecutive sixes off Ahmed Khudad, who came to bowl the 16th over.
However, Vaibhav then showed prudence and didn't hit any boundaries for the next two or three overs, instead taking singles.

Vaibhav then shifted gears to convert his explosive innings into a century. He reached 92 runs by hitting a six off the fifth ball of the 18th over. He hit two singles and a four in the 19th over to reach 98. Finally, Vaibhav reached his century with a single off the second ball of the 21st over, putting India in a strong position.
