14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is being called the future of Indian cricket, is in tremendous form these days. The young left-handed opener, who made his debut for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, is now thrashing the bowlers in the Under-19 camp going on at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru before the England tour. Vaibhav has rained fours and sixes against all the bowlers, be it pacers or spinners. His excellent form has made it clear that he is going to rain heavily on the bowlers in the upcoming series in England as well.

Vaibhav won everyone's heart with his explosive batting in the IPL and now he has also been included in the Under-19 Indian team. Currently, the Indian Under-19 team is camping at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, where the entire team is practicing for the upcoming England tour.

India Under-19 team will go to play in England

The Indian Under-19 team will leave for its England tour by the end of this month, where it has to play 5 ODIs and 2 Test matches with the England Under-19 team. The first ODI of this series will be played on 27 June at the County Ground in Hove. 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre has been selected as the captain of this team. Ayush was seen in the jersey of Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi seems to be very serious about this tour. In the ongoing camp in Bengaluru, he is sweating a lot in the nets and is completely dominating the bowlers. Seeing his form, the team management is also very impressed with him, due to which he has been given the responsibility of playing a big role in the top order. In a video going viral on social media, Vaibhav is seen hitting big sixes, which proves that he is fully prepared for the England tour.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his IPL debut for the first time on 19 April 2025 against Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur, in which he started his career with a bang by hitting a six off the very first ball. After this, on 28 April at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, he scored a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans and became the fastest Indian batsman to score a century in T20 history. Thanks to his stormy innings, RR achieved the target of 210 runs in just 15.5 overs.

In this season of IPL, Vaibhav scored a total of 252 runs in 7 matches for Rajasthan Royals at a strike rate of 206.55. Due to his excellent strike rate, he was also given the 'Super Striker of the Season' award. After the IPL ended, he started preparing for the England tour.
