WPL 2025 Auction: UP Warriors retained its core team from the upcoming season of the Women's Premier League (WPL 2025). The team has retained its main players, including captain Alyssa Healy and all-rounder Deepti Sharma. However, England fast bowler Lauren Bell was released. Last month, the franchise traded England batsman Danny Wyatt to defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In the inaugural season, UP Warriors, under the captaincy of Alyssa Healy, reached the eliminator. Grace Harris and Sophie Ecclestone, Deepti Sharma's strong performances helped them reach the eliminator. Mumbai Indians defeated the team in the eliminator match and reached the final. UP Warriors finished third in the points table.
UP Warriors performed well in the second season as well. However, they could not make it to the top three. The UP team won three out of 8 matches and finished fourth in the points table. This season, they would like to correct their mistakes and stake a claim for the title.
