The Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9. Before this multinational tournament, a T20 tri-series will be played between UAE, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The series is scheduled to begin on August 29. Meanwhile, the UAE cricket team has announced their squad for this tri-series. They have announced a 15-member squad which will be led by Muhammad Wasim.

Through this triangular series, all three teams will be seen preparing for the upcoming Asia Cup. UAE has included experienced and young players in its team. Players like Muhammad Wasim, Alishan Sharfu, Asif Khan, Dhruv Parashar will handle the responsibility of batting. Aryansh Sharma has been given the role of wicketkeeping. Players like Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Jawadullah and Junaid Siddiqui have got a place in the bowling.

In this triangular series, the UAE team will play its first match against Pakistan on 30 August. Their next match will be against Afghanistan on 1 September. After this, they will face Pakistan again on 4 September and they will face Afghanistan on 5 September.

The UAE team has to participate in the Asia Cup starting from September 9, but they have not yet announced their team for that tournament.
