Henil Patel took 6 wickets in two innings of a Test match against Australia Under-19. He also took 4 wickets in four innings across two Test matches against England Under-19. He also picked up 2 wickets against Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup final, although India lost that match. Domestically, he plays for the Gujarat Under-19 team.
