The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee announced the India A Under-19 and India B Under-19 squads for the IDFC First Bank Under-19 Tri-Series to be played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru from November 17 to 30. Vihaan Malhotra has been named the captain of the India Under-19 A team, while Aaron George will lead the India Under-19 B team.
Why did Vaibhav and Ayush not get a chance?
The Afghanistan Under-19 team will also participate in this series. Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have not been included in these teams. The BCCI stated that Mhatre is currently playing in the Ranji Trophy, while Suryavanshi was recently included in the India A squad for the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup.
