The 35-year-old Kohli is also his country's second-highest run-scorer across formats. MS Dhoni is regarded as one of the greatest captains in cricket history, his exceptional wicketkeeping and batting skills have led Team India to three ICC titles ICC T20 World Cup 2007, ICC ODI World Cup 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy 2013. 'Captain Cool' has played 535 international matches, the third-most for his country. The wicketkeeper-batsman has scored 17092 runs at an impressive average of 44.74, including 15 centuries and 108 half-centuries.
Rahul Dravid started his international career in 1996. Dravid continued to play till 2012. During this time he played a total of 504 matches for India and scored a total of 24,641 runs at an average of 45.57. Dravid was one of the most famous players of his time, who played 164 Test matches and 344 ODI matches, while he played only one T20 match. Dravid scored 13,288 runs in Test cricket, while he performed his best in ODI cricket by scoring 10,889 runs.
The current ODI and Test captain of India is Rohit Sharma, who is just one match away from the record figure of 500. He has played 499 matches so far in his overall international career which began in 2007. In his career, Rohit Sharma has scored 19,624 runs at an average of 42.11, while he has scored a total of 49 centuries for India across all formats of the game. Rohit Sharma has scored five centuries for India in the T20I format, Rohit Sharma led India to the 2024 T20 World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 title. Rohit Sharma is also one of the highest run-scorers with 11,921 runs in 272 ODIs.
