In Indian domestic cricket, Vinod Kambli played a mammoth innings of 208 in the semi-final against East Zone in Mumbai in 1992. Musheer Khan played a brilliant innings of 181 runs for India B in the Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India A and India B in Bengaluru. Coming in to bat in a hopeless situation after India B lost wickets in quick succession, Musheer played a patient but brilliant innings, facing 373 balls and hitting 16 fours and 5 sixes. His innings helped his team recover from a difficult position of 94/7 to reach a respectable score of over 300.
Ajinkya Rahane was one of the discoveries of the Duleep Trophy in 2008 when he scored 172 against the England Lions team, his innings, which lasted 293 balls and included 26 fours, is the fifth-highest score by any player in the history of the Duleep Trophy. Rahane's innings played a vital role in West Zone's first innings score of 494, helping his team gain a crucial lead over England Lions. His calm and aggressive batting led West Zone to a stunning 9-wicket win.
