The Indian cricket team is arguably the most successful team in T20I cricket. Besides winning two Men's ICC T20 World Cups, a feat only achieved by England and West Indies, the Men in Blue have won the most T20I matches and boast a win/loss ratio of 2.246, the best among teams that have played at least 100 matches.

This remarkable success of the Indian cricket team is largely due to their formidable batting lineup, which has included some of the greatest T20I batsmen of all time. Since India's T20I debut in 2006, they have consistently possessed high-class and world-beating batsmen. Five of them have even scored half-centuries in T20I cricket in fewer than 20 balls.

5. Abhishek Sharma – 17 balls vs England, 2025
