In the match played at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Hyderabad batting first after losing the toss posted a total of 201 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs, aided by innings from Ishan Kishan (80) and Aniket Verma (43). In reply, RCB scored 203 runs for the loss of four wickets in 15.4 overs to clinch the victory. RCB now holds the record for the fastest chase of a 200+ run target in the IPL. In doing so, RCB surpassed Rajasthan Royals, who had chased down a 200+ run target in 15.5 overs against Gujarat Titans in 2025.
