Bradman scored his first 1000 runs in Test cricket slowly, but after that he is still the fastest batsman to reach 2000 to 6000 runs. Bradman completed his 6000 Test runs in the 68th innings itself. After him, the second fastest batsman to score 6000 Test runs is the great Gary Sobers, who took 111 innings for this. Smith has also scored 6000 runs in Tests in 111 innings. Looking at these figures, it can certainly be said that it would be almost impossible for any batsman to reach this record of Bradman.
