In reply, India scored 444 runs in the first innings thanks to Virat Kohli (115). Australia declared the second innings at 290-5 thanks to Warner (102). India was all out for 315 in the second innings in which Kohli scored 141 runs. Australia won the match by 48 runs.

3 - South Africa vs India (Johannesburg, 2018)

India had decided not to field any spinner in the Johannesburg Test during the South Africa tour in January 2018. India were bowled out for 187 in the first innings, including half-centuries from Cheteshwar Pujara and Kohli. In reply, South Africa's first innings ended at 194 with Hashim Amla's half-century. India scored 247 in the second innings. Despite a fighting innings by Dean Elgar (86*), South Africa were bowled out for 177 in the second innings and India won the match by 63 runs.

2 - Australia vs India, (Perth, 2018)

In the Test played in Perth in December 2018, India did not field any spinner against Australia. Australia scored 326 in the first innings with the help of half-centuries from Marcus Harris, Aaron Finch and Travis Head. In reply, despite knocks from Kohli (123) and Ajinkya Rahane (51), India's first innings ended at 283. In the second innings, Usman Khawaja (72) took Australia to a score of 243. India's second innings was reduced to a score of just 140 and Australia won the match by 146 runs.

1 - Australia vs India, (Brisbane, 2021)

India gave Washington Sundar a chance to debut in this match. Australia scored 369 runs in the first innings thanks to Marnush Labuschagne (108). In response, India scored 336 runs in the first innings thanks to Sundar (62) and Shardul Thakur (67).

Australia's second innings ended at a score of 294. Chasing the score, India won the thrilling match by three wickets thanks to brilliant innings from Shubman Gill (91) and Rishabh Pant (89).
