Jasprit Bumrah out of Champions Trophy 2025: India has suffered a setback before the Champions Trophy-2025. The team's veteran bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of this tournament due to injury. Bumrah will not play in this tournament due to back problem. He suffered this injury in the Sydney Test on the Australia tour. The Champions Trophy 2025 is starting from February 19 and just before the start of the tournament, Team India has suffered a major setback. Bumrah has still not fully recovered from his back injury. He suffered this injury during the Sydney Test in January, due to which he was also ruled out of the white ball series against England.

Jasprit Bumrah's replacement in Champions Trophy 2025: The BCCI announced this on Tuesday. The selection committee has selected Harshit Rana as his replacement. Apart from this, there has been another change in the Champions Trophy squad. Varun Chakraborty has been included in the team in place of backup opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. Talking about Bumrah, no serious problem was revealed in his back during the recent scan in Bengaluru, but he is not fully ready to bowl yet. His recovery is being monitored by the BCCI medical team.

Let us tell you that Jasprit Bumrah is once again out of the ICC tournament due to injury. He could not play in the T20 World Cup played in Australia in 2022 due to a back injury, after which he had to undergo surgery. The ICC had given a deadline to all the eight participating teams to declare their final 15-man squad by February 11.

After this, any change will have to be approved by the technical committee of the tournament. Harshit Rana has been included in the team in place of Bumrah, he recently made his ODI debut against England. On the other hand, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dropped from the 15-man squad. In his place, Varun Chakraborty has been included in the team.
