India Cricket Schedule 2025 Time Table: The year 2024 was full of ups and downs for the Indian team. Be it the T20 series against Afghanistan or the home Test series against England, the Indian team proved its mettle. After this, it also ended the drought of winning the ICC title by winning the T20 World Cup title in June. However, there was some disappointment due to losing the home Test series against New Zealand and now falling behind in the five-match Test series against Australia, but the team has many big challenges this year.
The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team ended the year 2024 with defeat. It had to face defeat in the fourth Test match played against Australia in Melbourne, due to which it is trailing 1-2 in the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, the team has to start this year with the fifth Test against Australia. This match between the two teams will be played in Sydney from January 3. This will be a do or die match for India as they have a chance to retain the trophy as well as keep their chances alive for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.

It is to be held in Pakistan, but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to travel to Pakistan, after which the ICC decided to hold India's matches in Dubai. India last won the Champions Trophy in 2013 and in 2017 it had to face defeat in the final against Pakistan.

In such a situation, India can qualify for the WTC final. If India succeeds in doing so, then it will play the title match against South Africa in London in June. The WTC final will be played from 11 to 15 June.
