The story of the logos of companies on the jersey of the Indian cricket team is quite old and interesting. In 1993, Wills was the first company to sponsor Team India's jersey. After that Sahara India Pariwar took over this responsibility from 2002 to 2013, which was the longest-running partnership in Indian cricket history. During this period, Team India achieved many historic victories, including the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup.
After Sahara, Star India played the role of jersey sponsor from 2014 to 2017, and then Oppo took over the responsibility. In 2019, Byju's replaced Oppo, and finally, Dream11 temporarily took over the position. Now, this legacy is being handed over to Apollo Tyres.
