ICC Men T20 World Cup Warm-up Matches are designed to help teams fine-tune their preparations in a low-pressure environment. Unlike official T20I matches, these matches offer more flexibility:
- Full Squad Utilization: All 15 members of the squad are allowed to participate in the match.
- Flexible Playing XI: There is no requirement to declare a fixed playing XI at the time of the toss.
- Opportunity for Experimentation: This setup allows teams to rotate players, manage workload, and try out different combinations.

Team India's T20 World Cup Warm-up Schedule

This time, a different strategy has been adopted regarding the Indian team's preparations. The senior Indian team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will play only one warm-up match before the tournament, which will be against South Africa. In addition, India's 'A' team will take the field to provide practice for two other teams.
