This World Cup is being played in three major stages:
- Group Stage: 20 teams are divided into four groups of 5 each (A, B, C, D).
- Super 8: The top 2 teams from each group will advance, and the 8 qualifying teams will be divided into two new groups.
- Knockouts: The top 2 teams from both Super 8 groups will advance directly to the Semifinals, and Then the Grand Final will be held.

Rankings in the Points Table are determined by the following rules:
- >Win: 2 Points
- Tie/No Result: 1 Point
- Loss: 0 Points
- Tie-Breaker: If two teams have equal points, the highest number of wins will be considered first, followed by Net Run Rate (NRR) to determine who finishes first.
