India, the defending champions, will try to win the T20 World Cup 2026 again. So far, no team has ever successfully defended their T20 World Cup title. Also, no host country has won the tournament on home soil. If India wins, it will make history.

- Netherlands: They have caused upsets in past tournaments and cannot be taken lightly.
- Namibia: A tough team that can surprise in big matches.

- February 12: India vs Namibia – Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi
- February 15: India vs Pakistan – R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
