3 champions in one day: Finals of three leagues in one day... that means overdose of excitement. Finals of three leagues were seen on 31st August in Super Sunday. While on one hand, former Kolkata Knight Riders captain Nitish Rana displayed his ability by scoring an unbeaten 79 off 49 balls to give West Delhi Lions a six-wicket win over Central Delhi Lions and win the Delhi Premier League title 2025.

At the same time, the winner was decided in both the men's and women's categories of The Hundred. In the men's final played on Sunday, Sam Billings-led Oval Invincibles defeated Trent Rockets by 26 runs to win, while in the women's, Holly Armitage-led Northern Superchargers won the title by defeating Southern Brave by seven wickets.

Chasing a target of 174 runs to win, the Lions suffered early setbacks when Central Delhi bowlers Simarjit Singh and Arun Pundir took consecutive wickets to reduce the score to 48 for three in the fifth over. Captain Rana then shared a 42-run partnership with Mayank Gusai. He then got a good partner in Hrithik Shaukeen (42 not out off 27 balls). Rana hit six sixes in his innings. Earlier, Central Delhi had scored 173 runs in 20 overs. Rana also showed his bowling prowess, taking one wicket for 16 runs in four overs.

In the men's final, Oval Invincibles won the toss and batted first and scored 168 runs in 100 balls for the loss of five wickets. Will Jacks scored 72 runs in 41 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. At the same time, Jordan Cox scored 40 runs in 28 balls with the help of four fours and a six. Marcus Stoinis took two wickets for Trent Rockets. At the same time, chasing the target of 169 runs, the team of Trent Rockets could only score 142 runs for eight wickets in 100 balls.

Stoinis scored the most runs. He scored 64 runs in 38 balls with the help of four fours and five sixes. Nathan Sowter took three wickets for Oval. The Oval team has won the title for the third consecutive time. Earlier, the same team became champion in 2023 and 2024.

Wyatt Hodge scored 25 runs, Sophie Devine scored 23 runs, Freya Camp scored 26 runs and Madivilliers scored an unbeaten 17 runs. Kate Cross and Annabel Sutherland got two wickets each from Northern. Northern Superchargers achieved the target of 116 runs by losing three wickets in 88 balls.

Davina Perrin scored 17 runs. At the same time, Phoebe Litchfield played an innings of 26 runs. Sutherland remained unbeaten after scoring 28 runs in 25 balls and Nicola Carey remained unbeaten after scoring 35 runs in 25 balls. Devine, Maddie and Chloe Tryon got one wicket each from Southern.
