Sri Lanka squad and schedule for Asia Cup 2025: Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced the 16-member team for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 on 28 August. The command of the Sri Lankan team for the tournament to be played between 8 countries has been handed over to Charith Aslanka.
It is worth noting that the upcoming 17th season of the Asia Cup is starting from 9 September in the UAE. The first match will be played between Hong Kong and Afghanistan at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. At the same time, Sri Lanka will start its victorious campaign with a match against Bangladesh on 13 September.

After this, it has to play the last league match against Hong Kong on 15 September and Afghanistan on 18 September. Also, before participating in the Asia Cup, Sri Lanka will be seen playing a two-match ODI and a three-match T20 series with Zimbabwe. Sri Lanka's Zimbabwe tour is starting from 29 August.
