On Friday, February 3rd, Shaheen Shah Afridi, a prominent Pakistani fast bowler, got married to Ansha, daughter of famous cricketer Shahid Afridi, in a lavish wedding ceremony in Karachi. The event was attended by notable Pakistani cricket players including Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan.
The couple became engaged last year and their union was eagerly anticipated. Shaheen is set to play in the upcoming Pakistan Super League Season 8 for the Lahore Qalanders, and it is reported that any additional celebrations will take place after the conclusion of the tournament. A video posted by his PSL team shows Shaheen participating in a traditional ritual.

The 22 years old pacer has represented Pakistan in 25 Tests, 32 ODIs and 47 T20Is, while taking 99, 62 and 58 wickets respectively in the three formats of the game.
Shaheen will be next seen in action for Lahore Qalandars in the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League, which is scheduled to begin on February 13.
The Nikkah ceremony was attended by only close family members of the bride and groom. At the reception, members of the Pakistan cricket team were present and the groom posed for pictures with his father-in-law. Pakistan's captain Babar Azam, vice-captain Shadab Khan, former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, and young fast bowler Naseem Shah were among those in attendance.
