As captain, veteran all-rounder Richie Berrington will guide the Scottish attack. Having played for Scotland in many international matches, he offers the team a plethora of knowledge and leadership abilities.
Doug Watson will coach the team, and he says, 'It was a really difficult selection meeting, and it's never easy to narrow it down to a squad of fifteen.' I believe it was ultimately about finding the proper balance for the team, which we believe we have achieved here. It's great that we have some of our county players available, and we're quite thrilled about the fifteen we've picked, so we can look forward to what comes next.'
'Having Michael Jones and Brad Wheal available with their experience from past T20 World Cups is critical for the group. 'I'm looking forward to meeting them both, getting to know them, and seeing their skills up close,' he says.
