Sahibzada Farhan reacts to gunfire celebrations during IND vs PAK match: The Super Four match between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 21st, was memorable in many ways, but one player's celebration grabbed more headlines than the match's result. We're talking about Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan, who, after his brilliant half-century, made a gesture that sparked debate in the cricket world.
When Farhan reached his half-century, he held his bat like a gun and pointed it towards the dugout, pretending to fire. The gesture immediately went viral on social media and drew sharp criticism, calling it "provocative." Many considered it against the spirit of cricket, especially in a sensitive match like the India-Pakistan match.

Following the incident, Farhan spoke openly about his behavior in the post-match press conference against Sri Lanka. He described it as a "spur of the moment." When asked if he regretted his behavior, Farhan clearly stated that he didn't care how people perceived it.
He said, "I don't celebrate much after scoring 50 runs. But suddenly, it occurred to me that I should celebrate today. I did. I don't know how people will perceive it. I don't care. And the rest, you know, wherever you play, you should play aggressive cricket."
Farhan also clarified that his attitude wasn't just against India, but against every team. According to him, one should always adopt an aggressive approach in cricket.

Abhishek top-scored, while Shubman Gill (47) and Tilak Verma (30*) led India to a 6-wicket victory. This was India's second victory over Pakistan in this Asia Cup.
