The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the initial 20-day schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, setting the stage for an action-packed start to the tournament. The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), will kick off their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 28th March at their home ground in Bengaluru.
Interestingly, RCB will play five of their home matches in Bengaluru this season, with the remaining two hosted in Raipur. During the first 20 days of the tournament, RCB will feature in a total of four matches - two at home and two away.

The season will begin with a home match against SRH, followed by a blockbuster clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 5th April. After these encounters, RCB will travel to Guwahati to take on the Rajasthan Royals before facing Mumbai Indians at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on 12th April.
