The record for hitting the most sixes in IPL is held by Chris Gayle who has hit 357 sixes in 142 matches, but if we talk about Indian players, the record for hitting the most sixes is held by Rohit Sharma. Rohit has hit 280 sixes in IPL so far and after him comes Virat Kohli with 272 sixes.
Rohit Sharma holds the record for winning the IPL title the most number of times as a player, i.e. 6 times. Rohit Sharma won the title for the first time in 2009 while playing for Deccan Chargers. After that, Rohit won the title for Mumbai Indians in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020.
Rohit Sharma has scored the most 50 plus runs for Mumbai Indians. Rohit has scored 50 or more runs 38 times in 221 matches and in this case Suryakumar Yadav comes after him who has scored 50+ runs 25 times. Rohit has scored only two centuries in the IPL and for the first time he played an unbeaten innings of 109 runs against KKR in 2012. After that in 2024, Rohit played an unbeaten innings of 105 runs against CSK.
Rohit Sharma holds the record for scoring the most runs for Mumbai Indians. Rohit is the only batsman who has scored more than 5000 runs for Mumbai Indians. Rohit Sharma has scored 6666 runs in 256 innings of 261 matches for Mumbai Indians with the help of two centuries and 43 half-centuries. Apart from this, Rohit Sharma is also the player who has played the most matches for Mumbai Indians.
