As soon as the year 2025 started, Indian cricketers have started retiring. At the end of 2024, Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket. Now Indian team all-rounder Rishi Dhawan has announced his retirement from the white ball format of international cricket after 9 years.

Dhawan made his international debut in 2016 on the Australian tour under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. In which he could not do anything amazing. But Dhawan's performance in domestic cricket has been very good. Rishi has announced his retirement through a post on social media.

Rishi Dhawan wrote on a post on social media about retirement that I am feeling very emotional while coming to this decision. I am announcing my retirement from Indian cricket. But I have no regrets about this. Because cricket has given me a lot in the last 20 years. Which includes many of my countless memories. Cricket will always be close to my heart. I thank BCCI, Himachal Pradesh Cricket Board, Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians and KKR. Representing India at the international level has been a great honor for me.

Rishi Dhawan has played 3 ODIs and 1 T20 match for India in international cricket. In which he has taken 1 wicket and 1 wicket. Talking about his IPL career, Dhawan has played a total of 39 matches. In which Dhawan has scored 210 runs and taken 25 wickets. At the same time, in List A cricket, Dhawan has scored 2906 runs in 134 matches. He has taken 186 wickets.
