RCB Victory Parade Cancelled, Fans to Meet Team at Stadium

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have cancelled their much-anticipated open-bus victory parade, originally scheduled for Wednesday, following concerns over severe traffic congestion in the city. The decision comes a day after RCB clinched their maiden IPL title with a thrilling six-run win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Historic Win After 18 Years

RCB’s IPL 2025 triumph ended an 18-year-long title drought, sparking celebrations across Bengaluru and among fans worldwide. The team had planned a large open-bus procession from Vidhana Soudha to M Chinnaswamy Stadium to celebrate the accomplishment.

RCB Victory Parade Cancelled Due to Traffic Concerns

However, city officials and RCB management jointly decided to cancel the roadshow after assessing the traffic situation in central Bengaluru. The already congested roads, especially around the Central Business District (CBD), were deemed unsuitable for a large-scale procession.

Revised Plan: Stadium Felicitation

In place of the parade, RCB will now host a fan felicitation event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The event will allow fans to celebrate with the team in a more controlled environment.

Celebrations Still On

Despite the cancellation of the roadshow, the festive spirit remains undeterred. Banners, fan rallies, and chants continue to flood the city as thousands prepare to gather at the stadium and cheer for a team that finally brought home the IPL trophy.
