During the event, RCB players will interact with fans, unveil the new team jersey, and participate in various fun activities and performances. Over the years, the Unboxing event has evolved into a massive fan festival that attracts thousands of supporters.

IPL 2026 Schedule to Be Announced Soon
The IPL Governing Council has already approved the first half of the IPL 2026 schedule, which is expected to be officially announced on March 6 or March 7.
According to reports, the council held an online meeting and decided to release the schedule in two phases. This approach has been adopted due to the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming state assembly election schedule, which may impact security arrangements and venue availability.
Possible Start Date for IPL 2026
Reports suggest that the 19th edition of the IPL could begin on March 28 or March 29. Meanwhile, the tournament final has already been scheduled for May 31, 2026.
The opponents for RCB’s opening matches are yet to be finalized, and fans are eagerly waiting for the official fixture list.

BCCI Shares Important Update with Franchises
In a recent communication to IPL teams, Hemang Amin informed franchises that practice session guidelines would be shared in the coming week.
He also stated that No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for overseas players will be issued together in the coming days, allowing international players to participate in the tournament without delays.
IPL 2026 Fixtures to Be Released in Two Phases
Due to the limited time available and the uncertainty regarding election schedules, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to release the IPL 2026 fixtures in two phases, a strategy that has also been used in previous election years.
The first phase of the schedule will cover the initial 13-14 days of the tournament, while the remaining fixtures will be announced later once the election timeline becomes clear.
