Virat Kohli and Phil Salt can be seen opening for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2025. English wicketkeeper Phil Salt has been bought by the franchise for Rs 11.50 crore in the mega auction. Last season, Salt played brilliantly for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Phil Salt scored 435 runs in 12 matches at an average of 39.55 and a strike rate of 182.01, his highest score was 89*. Salt can play the role of wicketkeeper along with opening. On the other hand, talking about Virat's performance, he won the Orange Cap by scoring 741 runs in 15 matches at an average of 61.75, a strike rate of 154.70.
