The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) started in 2014 and has had 11 seasons so far. Its 12th season is expected to start in August 2025. If we talk about the teams that have won the Pro Kabaddi League title, Patna Pirates has won it the most three times, the Jaipur Pink Panthers team has won the title twice. Apart from this, U Mumba, Bengaluru Bulls, Bengal Warriors, Dabang Delhi, Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers have won the title once each.

The first season of PKL was won by Jaipur Pink Panthers and their team was led by left corner Navneet Gautam. After finishing first in the league stage with 10 wins and 54 points in 14 matches, Jaipur defeated U Mumba in the final. Navneet scored 17 tackle points in 14 matches that season and made a huge contribution as captain.
Anup Kumar, one of the finest players of the Pro Kabaddi League, led U Mumba to the title of the second season. After finishing first in the league stage with 12 wins and 60 points from 14 matches, U Mumba defeated Bengaluru Bulls in the final. Anup scored 74 raid points and 7 tackle points in 14 matches that season.
Manpreet Singh, one of the legendary coaches of Pro Kabaddi League, made Patna Pirates champions for the first time in the third season under his captaincy. In the league stage, Patna's team finished second with 10 wins and 58 points in 14 matches and then won the title by defeating defending champion U Mumba in the final. Apart from his excellent captaincy, captain Manpreet also scored 24 points in 13 matches in raiding and 5 points in defense.
Dharmaraj Cheralathan, one of the legendary defenders of the Pro Kabaddi League, led Patna Pirates to their second consecutive title in 2016. Patna won the trophy by finishing first in the league stage with 10 wins and 52 points from 14 matches. Cheralathan, who plays as a right and left corner, scored 39 tackle points with 4 High 5s in 14 matches.
Pro Kabaddi League's best raider Pardeep Narwal led Patna Pirates to their third consecutive title in the fifth season. Patna Pirates finished second in Zone B in the league stage but won the title with three consecutive wins in the eliminator, qualifier and final. Pardeep performed brilliantly and scored a record 369 raid points in 26 matches with the help of 19 Super 10s.
Bengaluru Bulls won the PKL title for the first time in 2018-19 and the team won under the leadership of captain Rohit Kumar. Bengaluru Bulls finished first in Zone B in the league stage and won the title by defeating Gujarat Giants in the final. Rohit scored 162 raid points with the help of 5 Super 10s in 24 matches that season.
Maninder Singh, one of the legendary raiders of PKL, led Bengal Warriors to the title of Season 7. Bengal Warriors finished second in the league stage with 14 wins and 83 points in 22 matches, but won the title by defeating Dabang Delhi in the final. Maninder scored 205 raid points in 20 matches with the help of 10 Super 10s.
Considered a Kabaddi legend, Joginder Narwal finally led Dabang Delhi to their maiden title in 2021-22. In the league stage, Dabang Delhi finished second with 12 wins and 75 points from 22 matches, but lost to Patna Pirates in the final. Although Joginder played only 19 matches and had 31 tackle points to his name, his captaincy had a huge impact.
In 2022, experienced defender Sunil Kumar led Jaipur Pink Panthers to their second PKL title. In the league stage, Jaipur finished first with 15 wins and 82 points from 22 matches. Sunil scored 64 tackle points with 4 High 5s in 23 matches.
Star all-rounder Aslam Inamdar led Puneri Paltan to the title win in 2023-24 with his stellar performance and captaincy. In the league stage, Puneri Paltan finished first with 17 wins and 96 points in 22 matches. Aslam made 142 raids in 23 matches with the help of 3 Super 10s and also scored 26 tackle points in defense.
Jaideep Dahiya, who handles left cover in defense, made Haryana Steelers champions for the first time in 2024 under his captaincy. In the league stage, Haryana's team finished first with 16 wins and 84 points in 22 matches and won the title by defeating Patna Pirates in the final. However, Jaideep could not play all the matches due to injury but in 21 matches, he scored 39 tackle points with the help of 1 High 5.
