Jasprit Bumrah has now become the bowler with the most five-wicket hauls for India in SENA countries. By doing this, Bumrah has broken Kapil Dev's record. Bumrah has registered the record of taking a 5-wicket haul for the eighth time in SENA countries (SENA countries means - South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia). At the same time, Kapil Dev was successful in taking five-wicket hauls in SENA countries 7 times in his Test career. At the same time, Zaheer Khan did this feat 6 times in his Test career.

In this innings, Jasprit Bumrah sent Usman Khawaja (21), Nathan McSweeney (9), Marnus Labuschagne (12), Steve Smith (101) and Travis Head (152) to the pavilion.
